Hi there, a new Tip of the Day, and this one is easy to forgett. When you work in Silhouette Studio, a way to save your design and save some time too, as often as you have made a change in your progress when you making a new design, make a copy of it and place it outside the working area. When you are 100% done with your work you can delete the copies outside the working area or let them be there. maybe you can use them later. Now save your work in to your PC. Happy Creating;)

Hi there, and Happy Sunday, time for a new Freebie. Since I have talk alot and shared some webistes about Dingbats, I made a Christmas card using the Dingbats, you can allso use it as a Christmas decoration. Here you can download Your Free Silhouette v3 file I made some Christmas cards and I had some trouble to cut it out, because the lines was a little bit too thin. So I made a thin offset around it to make the lines thicker, and that worked. The offset is in the free design that you can download. But I decide to use my gel pens and the Blue Silhouette Pen holder. The Brand I use here on the picture is 'Sense', and I don't know where I found them. Here you can se the gel pen in my Cameo 1. And the finished result of the printed snowstars, ready to glue on the card.  And here you also can see that I cutted out the snowstars (blue) and the offset/gelpen pieces.

Hi there, Ooh... I'm so exited. I'm invited to  a wedding and for this I have etched 6 wine glass with a monogram for the wedding couple. I made the monogram and the wedding date in Silhouette Studio, and cut it out on my Cameo. I used some alcohol to clean the surface with. Here you can see when I have applied the stencil on the glass before the etching. I used this brand of etching crème that I bought in Sweden. I put on gloves to protect my hands when I aplicated the etching crème. I Strongly recommended that you READ on your etching crème how to use it! The time for the etching crème was 15 minutes for this brand, after that I return the crème into the original container for re-use, I flush etched surface with water to remove remaining crème before I removed the stencil. Finished result of the Etched monogram glass! Happy Creating;)

Hi there, How many of us have struggling with a lot of small paper pieces still on the cutting mat after we have taken away the paper/cardstock,probably all. A quick tip is to just use a old credit card or something not to sharp. Just slide the card, not to hard, (we don't want the adhesive to go away) in front of you over the cutting mat. Hi there, Today I have a video on how to use the very popular font Samantha Upright Glyphs, and you can also use other fonts to get the Glyphs into Silhouette Studio. Samantha Upright is a very good example of how beautiful you can make your texting and designing. I know there are many videos out there, but I hope you find mine easy to follow. Hi there, Here is a Free template for this cute litle box, just to cut out with your Silhouette cutting machine or other cutters. I used white cardstock for the box, that I cutted out on my Silhouette Cameo. Put double sided tape between the edges of the box and the scored line, as the picture show, folding after the scoring lines, to make the box. I look thru my stash and find some nice paper, ribbon and pearls to decorate with, as you can see I did 5 boxes and some of them I decorated and a few had to be white. I love this punch from "Stampin Up" so I made some of this too. And here you can see the finished result! Happy Creating;) Anki J

Hi there, two days ago I was (tried) cut on my brand new cutting mat. And of course I had very thin paper to cut, and to get that out of the mat was not a piece of cake. So my tip to day is when you have a new cutting mat, - take a rag or T-shirt and press it to the mat several times, that makes the adhesive on the mat not so sticky-. Hej där, för två dagar sedan provade jag min nya skärmatta.. Och naturligtvis använde jag ett väldigt tunt papper, och för att få bort det från skärmattan var inte det lättaste. Så dagens Tips när du har en helt ny skärmatta - Tag en bomulls T-shirt eller liknande, knöla ihop den till en boll och tryck den lätt mot den nya skärmattan, upprepa detta över hela mattan, några gånger.  Luddet i T-shirten gör att mattan inte blir så klibbig- Happy Creating;)
